Becca Schultz is a pianist, composer, entrepreneur, and visual artist. She is the Founder and Leader of Vesper School of Music in Portland, Oregon.
Becca has played with a number of Portland bands. For several years she toured internationally with choral folk-rock band Ages and Ages. As a solo performer, Becca has accompanied vocalists, dancers, musical theater and instrumentalists. Since 2013 she has been an active performing artist with the non-profit Piano. Push. Play. Becca is proud to be represented by the Future Prairie arts collective.
In December 2012 Becca released Terrain, her debut solo record of original piano compositions. Her piano and keyboard playing has been featured on a number of studio recordings.
Becca's second solo album Prisma was released summer 2019. In stark contrast to Terrain, Prisma is spacious, cinematic, synth-focused & experimental. Rich textures and melodies co-exist with ambient noise in an immersive sound experience that speaks deeply of personal emotional reflections. Prisma was released alongside a book of piano sheet music which is available to purchase here.
