Prisma is Becca Schultz's second album of original contemporary classical compositions. This album is a departure in style from her earlier work. With spacious, emotive compositions, Prisma is a soundscape of piano, synthesizers, strings, guitar, and other instruments that create a cinematic world for the listener. Rich textures and melodies co-exist with ambient noise in an immersive sound experience that speaks deeply of personal emotional reflections.
Prisma was composed while Becca was living in Berlin in 2018 and recorded in Portland shortly thereafter by her husband, recording engineer and producer Paul Laxer.
